Pillai Community

We are a land-owning community from Tamil Nadu. As a title, Pillai is mostly used by the Vellalar caste. Pillai is also a subdivision of Nairs, a Kshatriya caste of Kerala belonging to the Nagavanshi order. In fact, Pillai was one of the highest titles of dignity used by the Nairs in Kerala.
